10th Annual Enderle Center Car Show

Enderle Center's annual Car Show is always popular and this year was no different, after filling the parking lot by about 9 am the late arrivals had to settle for overflow parking on the blocked-off street adjacent to the center. There is always something that catches my eye and this morning it was this Chicago Electric. I forgot to ask the owner what year this one is but after a brief search I found out they were made from 1915-16. See all the pics from the show at SoCalCarCulture.com.

Back from the Salt

The Hop Up team stopped by Cars & Coffee today on their way home from Bonneville Speed Week. Arriving at the end of the show all they did was cruise through the lot on their way back to their shop. The truck and the race car were still covered with salt and the rear bumper on the truck was packed, some was falling out as they hit bumps in the lot. All the pics are on SoCalCarCulture.com.

Hi there, Dave Lindsay from SoCalCarCulture.com here, I’ll be blogging to bring you the latest SoCal Car Culture news. I’m just a gear head at heart having grown up knowing car names practically before I could speak, or so it seems. Everything in the automotive world has fascinated me for as long as I can remember, this fascination spans the various cultures of the hobby/sport and I truly enjoy everything on wheels from Hot Rods & Customs to Street Machines, Musclecars to Exotics, Lowriders to Off-Road, Drifting to Drag Racing and anything in between.

One of the greatest rewards of any hobby is the people involved and the local Car Culture is no different, I make new friends at every show I attend and am constantly reminded of how many great pioneers of this hobby/sport are right here in our backyard.
