Papa John's founder finds his beloved 1971 Camaro
In this August 24, 2009 handout photo released by Papa John's Pizza, John Schnatter, the founder of Papa John's pizza, is seen Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 outside his home in Louisville, Ky., with his beloved 1971 Z28 Camaro, which he sold in 1983 to keep his father's tavern afloat and ultimately launch Papa John's Pizza. Schnatter launched a nationwide contest this summer to find the car, and Jeff Robinson of Flatwoods, Ky. came forward with the car and was given a $250,000 reward. Read more at Papa John's Road Trip.

Hot '55 Longroof
My Buddy over at Chrome Dome's Speed Garage recently completed this '55 Longroof. I have always been a wagon lover, long before they were popular, and this one just has that no-nonsense gasser look that is currently gaining popularity. Check out some of the details on this one and you'll see what I mean!
More pics of it here and here and check out all the pics and Event listings on SoCalCarCulture.com

Cool Car Hauler
Saw this nicely done car hauler at Cars & Coffee a few weeks ago. Seems it was built by Wilburn’s Custom Haulers in Indiana and after seeing it here on the West Coast I noticed a pic of it in the latest Goodguys Gazette at the Indy Show. Don’t know if it was sold to someone local or he was on a tour but I sure liked the looks of this one. Click on the pic to see a slideshow or see all the pics at SoCalCarCulture.com

'52 Blastolene Indy Special
Last Saturday Symbolic Motors brought their 1952 Blastolene Indy Special to Cars and Coffee. The most interesting part of this was when they tried to load it back on their trailer, which appeared to have been designed to haul farm implements. Take a look at all the pics on SoCalCarCulture.com to see them loading this monster with a couple boards to drive it up on the trailer.

2010 Hennessey Camaros at Cars & Coffee
Two new Hennessey Camaros showed up at Cars & Coffee this past Saturday, the yellow one is an HPE650 and the other is an HPE550. They both looked good but I like the side stripes on the Inferno Orange Metallic version. Be sure to check out all the pics of these two jewels at SoCalCarCulture.com or just click on the pic to see a slideshow.
