I was in Gruene, Texas last month and while wandering around the picturesque Historic District I spotted this '71 Pontiac Ventura II Sprint. I think it's a '71 because from what I've read the 72's eliminated the Sprint wording on the side stripe. This was nicely presented although it would look better with Pontiac Rally II wheels instead of the Chevy wheels seen here.
From Wikipedia: A Ventura Sprint option package was offered on two-door models 1971 to 1975, including three-speed transmission with floor shift and optional 350 cu in. V8
equipped four-speed, body color mirrors, custom carpeting, all-vinyl
upholstery with either the standard bench or optional Strato bucket
seats, Custom Sport steering wheel, blackout-grille trim, special
striping, blackout grille, and 14x6" (36 cm diameter, 15 cm wide)
wheels.
These are few and far between these days and probably weren't seen frequently when new either.
Gruene is part of New Braunfels, TX and not to be missed if you are in the San Antonio or Austin area.

Sweet ride, you're right about the wheels though, it needs Pontiac Rally's. Although some Pontiac honeycomb wheels would look great too.
